Newly, sympathetically converted barn which is a Grade II listed building, built in 1769. There are glorious views of the Pennines from every room. All the rooms are professionally decorated to a high standard with central heating throughout. There is a guests lounge where you can either watch TV or take in the view. All the bedrooms have colour teletext TV, Tea/Coffee making facilities, hair dryer and radio/clock alarms. The ground floor twin bedroom is suitable for the partially disabled. All the bedrooms are en-suite - one with bath. There is ample private off road parking at rear of property. This is an excellent area for walking . The Pennine Way is right on the door step. There are many pleasant, less strenuous, local walks. The local area has an interesting geology including the spectacular High Cup Nick valley cut into the Pennines. Dufton is also a good base for touring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. We serve a hearty breakfast , using local produce, to set you up to explore this beautiful area. The historic market town of Appleby is only 3 miles away, the Methodist Church is but a short walk away.
